Rosalie’s Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
4 cups milk
2 teaspoons salt
6 cups sliced raw potatoes
½ onion, sliced thin (optional)
Melt 4 tablespoons butter; add flour and salt. Add milk slowly;
Stir and cook until sauce thickens. Add sliced potatoes; bring to
a boil. Put into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish and dot with remaining
butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Gramma Royek’s Meat Loaf
Ingredients:
2 pounds hamburger
4 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs (2 slices)
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2/3 cup milk
4 tablespoons chopped onion
4 tablespoons flour
Combine and mix thoroughly. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
