This is a used, hardcover book. It is the 8th edition, completely revised. Original copyright was 1941, this copyright is 1973. Completely revised and enlarged: 188 plates in color and monochrome; 140 Drawings, diagrams, charts; 53 tested formulas, and 33 tables.
The book cover is in excellent condition with tight binding, pages are clean and complete. There is a greeting on the inside front page that says Christmas 1980 from Mom. The book jacket is good with rough edges and a couple of tears. The inside front has been clipped and there is some creasing. This is an old book but all in all, it is a great book, chuck full of information for the amateur photographer.
